Position Title: HR Advisor

Location: Sydney Head Office, Millers Point NSW

Employment: Full time, Fixed Term (7 months)

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, and assisting with supporting our commercial business, the ideal candidate needs to be an enthusiastic, well-rounded and motivated team player with excellent people skills. You will have a collaborative approach to work and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and able to work autonomously and drive own work outcomes.

The role will be best suited to an experienced HR individual with proven experience working within a fast-paced environment. This opportunity is a 7-month maternity leave cover with internal process training provided however learning on the job and self-motivation is a must.

Key Responsibilities For This Role Include
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including, position descriptions, managing pipelines, candidate communication, interviews, offers and on-boarding process;
  • Undertake generalist HR activities including reporting, coordinate probations, employment letters, policy advice, exit interviews, and off-boarding administration and any other general transactional HR duties;
  • Updating policies to keep up to date with employment legislation and business initiatives;
  • Managing parental leave process for employees and the business;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in HR processes and procedures and assist in implementation;
  • Maintain a high standard of internal and external communication to deliver an exceptional customer experience;
  • Support HR Business Partner with projects and HR driven initiatives for the business;
  • Any other duties as needed to support the overall business needs.

The minimum qualification, experience and skill requirements for this role are:
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is required;
  • 2-4 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, Advisor or similar;
  • Be reliable, adaptable, and have a passion for Human Resources;
  • Must be confident, personable and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A track record of being proactive and achieving outcomes;
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with information;
  • Experience in using Workday is essential;
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
