Turner & Townsend is recruiting for a Director to join the Natural Resources and Renewables division in a full-time capacity, reporting to the ANZ Head of Natural Resources.

Job Description

• Act as the primary interface with Turner & Townsend Natural Resources and Renewables clients at both business development and commission delivery level.
• Role covers primarily Eastern Australia, however client base is global and supporting the global business is part of the role.
• Provide leadership to the team leaders within the Natural Resources and Renewables division together with leadership and mentoring capability as required.
• Ensure all key staff members within the Natural Resources and Renewables team have current and relevant training and mentoring.
• Manage the delivery of Natural Resources and Renewables team outputs in accordance with agreed time-scales, quality and behavioural standards.
• Experience at all stage of asset development preferable.
• Provide project delivery services in the individuals areas of expertise.
• Co-ordination and sign off on all management information produced by the Natural Resources and Renewables team prior to issue.
• ‘Win’ clients through strong business development skills and harnessing their marketplace network.
• Support in management of P&L and team resourcing.
  
  

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified in construction, engineering or resources.
• Experience at a senior level within the Natural Resources and Renewables consulting sector.
• Significant experience within Natural Resources/Renewables projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working within the Australian market and/or Australian projects.
• Strategic in management abilities and understanding of hierarchical structures and lines.
• Experience of leading Natural Resources and Renewables commissions for medium, large, sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
• Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
• People management experience, particularly in the context of managing a Natural Resources and Renewables team delivering a project.
