The opportunity

Our Talent Sourcing team enjoy taking a proactive approach to recruitment and are skilled at identifying and engaging with talented professionals and matching them to unique opportunities with EY. Sourcing great candidates isn’t always easy in an ever changing and evolving business like EY, so your creative searching skills and confidence speaking with passive candidates in the market will certainly be utilised! Our team are based in various locations and are good at connecting virtually, so the location is flexible.

Initially a contract until the end of January 2022, this opportunity will enable you to source talent across a broad range of roles providing variety and challenge in your recruiting activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

The Talent Sourcing team collaborate closely with our service line recruiters and business stakeholders to work on strategic and hard to fill niche roles across Australia and New Zealand. As such, this is not an end to end recruitment role and is more focused on engaging with prospective candidates who are not actively applying for positions.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders in the business, understanding their needs and consulting with them effectively.
  • Sourcing and identifying candidates in the market and producing quality searches through utilising a variety of sourcing channels.
  • Engaging and approaching prospective candidates, with the expectation of being comfortable picking up the phone.
  • Talent pooling and building pipelines of candidates for future business needs including proactively sourcing candidates to support our Diversity & Inclusiveness priorities.
  • Continuously providing an exceptional candidate experience.


Skills And Attributes For Success
  • Demonstrated experience in proactive sourcing or executive search, with a genuine interest to do this over an end to end recruitment role.
  • Strong relationship management skills and having the confidence to truly consult.
  • Effective Boolean and search skills
  • Being comfortable working in a fast paced and constantly changing, complex environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own talent pools and portfolio of work

Ideally you’ll also have
  • Prior success in building and engaging with talent communities
  • Experience recruiting within Professional Services or Financial Services
