About the Role

As the HR Advisor, you will help deliver a range of HR activities across the employee life-cycle. You will bring your hands-on operations, administration and advisory experience and will enjoy working as part of a team with a flexible and service focused approach.

Your areas of responsibilities will include:

  • Work collaboratively with the HR team to support day to day operations and requests for information.
  • Respond to allocated stakeholder enquiries in a timely manner, seeking advice and guidance from HR.
  • Assist with position description development and recruitment processes as required.
  • Administration of the employment life cycle;
  • Support in the design and delivery of specific HR projects.
  • Other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Minimum 2 years practical experience in a Human Resource Generalist role.
  • Sound knowledge of current employment and workplace legislation.
  • Well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport, interact effectively at all levels and provide support and advice.
  • Ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills with an ability to prioritise and manage workload, meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to remain impartial, maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and take the initiative.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs and other relevant database programs.
