What We Do

We help governments, intelligence agencies and corporations find solutions to their data and analysis problems. Our software is delivered worldwide via our partnership with IBM and ten other sales partners.


Our flagship software product, Sintelix, is an advanced text analytics engine and is currently one of the fastest, most accurate and highly configurable unstructured data processing systems on the market. The company is enjoying a period of rapid sales growth at well above 100% a year. 


The Role

We are looking for exceptional Recruitment Manager to help us find and retain the highest quality workforce possible.


As part of our team, you will coordinate the recruitment of outstanding candidates, provide on-boarding and induction and help foster a workplace environment that people want to be part of.


You will work closely with the team to understand staffing needs, develop precise position descriptions and design recruitment campaigns that are likely to find candidates that align with job requirements and the culture of the company.


This is a contract role for 6 months initially.


Responsiblities:

► Manage the recruitment needs for all companies within the Sintelix and Semantic Sciences Group, including:

  • Recruitment
  • On-boarding
  • Induction

► Identify the cultural imperatives of the company within potential recruits.

► Understand the specific requirements of each role and develop tools to run successful recruitment campaigns.

► Co-ordinate recruitment through:

  • Recruitment partners
  • Direct efforts eg. Seek and LinkedIn
  • Referrals
  • Other partners
  • New pathways

► Work with senior staff to develop a Recruitment Strategy to source, assess, recruit and retain employees of the highest quality, across all elements of the group.

► Expand on existing company policy, procedures and resources to develop a comprehensive management system for recruitment. This may include:

  • Review and implementation of software solutions for recruitment, testing, on-boarding, induction and review
  • Working with others to improve our LinkedIn presence and profile.
  • Establishing “testing” systems for all jobs to improve success rates of hiring the right candidates
  • Draft job ads and descriptions for all jobs across all companies

► Develop new pathways for recruitment such as:

  • Create and manage internship program
  • Sponsor Hackathlons etc, in Australia, the US and elsewhere
  • Connect with local and national unis in Australia
  • Roadshows at universities and elsewhere
  • Trade shows

► Commit to, contribute and assist in the WHS standards of the company

► Embrace a culture of continuous change, open book management and continuous improvement.

► Contribute to the development of quality assurance across the company


Skills and Qualities We are Looking for:

► Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred, but not essential.

► Demonstrated high-level experience (in excess of 5 years) working recruitment roles

► Highly developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

► Capacity to exercise judgment and discretion in dealing with politically sensitive and/or • confidential information.

► Ability to develop, review and implement systems towards continuous improvement initiatives.

► Sound ability to identify/develop personal work practices: promote self-organisation, accountability and learning.

► Be self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude.

► Sharp, quick, dedicated and innovative problem solver.
