JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role you will be reporting to the Workplace Relations and Strategy Manager and contributing strategically across Council as a member of a dynamic People and Culture Team.

The Remuneration, Reward and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing the Remuneration, Benefits & Rewards (RB&R) strategy. This position will focus on all aspects of remuneration and benefits practices and governance.

About the Role
Working closely with the Chief of People & Culture Officer (CP&CO) and the Leadership Team, this position will explore and examine information from multiple sources so as to assist in developing new initiatives and governance reporting, as well as supporting cyclical activities that require automation, analytics, reporting and data management.

About the Person
The successful candidate will oversee the RB&R framework and processes that promote a high performing culture to support Council’s strategic direction while being engaging, sophisticated and compliant.

The Remuneration, Reward and Benefits Specialist will be required to work with a range of internal stakeholders including the broader Payroll and People and Culture team in maintaining strategic and sustainable remuneration policies, procedures and systems to support the attraction, development, motivation and retention of our workforce.

Qualifications (Level)
  • Degree qualification Human Resources, Business or related discipline


Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in a related role within a diverse organisation
  • An innovative and continuous improvement approach whilst maintaining a high level compliance and governance
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills

What’s on offer?
We are offering an attractive salary commencing at $104,714.98 plus superannuation.
