Full Job Description
We are looking for someone who can provide high quality, customer-centric HR advice and solutions to support the successful delivery of government and community priorities.
The Lead HR Advisor is responsible for leading a small team to deliver service excellence and building a high performing culture in providing responsive, tailored, expert advice and coordination on core aspects of People & Culture services to DELWP. Key points of focus include HR policy advice and interpretation, complex HR case management, workforce change advice, and general management advice and coaching.
You will work with a range of partners to ensure the integrated and seamless delivery of HR Advisory services to DELWP.
The Lead HR Advisor is a member of the HR Advisory Unit in People & Culture Division, contributing to the delivery of group and departmental priorities, and to building an inclusive and high performing workforce that is customer focussed, collaborative, professional and engaged.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of Human Resource policy frameworks and relevant EBAs.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding in leading the delivery of high quality, customer-centric HR services in complex and challenging business environments.
This is 12-month fixed term position.
