Job Description
This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced People/HR leader with expertise in leading the people function to rapidly scale a growing technology company. Working closely with the leadership team you will lead the growth of Emesent’s team and build our reputation as an employer of choice, by helping to find, develop, motivate and retain our team.

The People team at Emesent partners with all areas of the company to help our teams deliver on business objectives, including driving recruitment of the best talent, coaching on team leadership, building effective organisational processes and systems, helping to resolve employee relations issues and managing programs that help develop staff.


    • Partner with and provide exceptional service to all areas of the business requiring people operations/HR support
    • Provide strategic leadership to organisational planning, capability analysis and development.
    • Lead the people team in the development of best practice in people processes, policy and documentation
    • Define all aspects of people administration to enable effective recruitment, onboarding, employment, performance, training, and exit processes
    • Lead organisational performance management and talent development
    • Respond to employee enquiries in a proactive and outcome oriented manner
    • Ensure compliance with policy and legislation in all areas of people administration
    • Collect, report on and analyse people data to support company objectives and decision making
    • Maintain knowledge of relevant industry trends and legislation


    • Strong curiosity about people and expertise in how to enable successful teams
    • 3+ years generalist HR leadership experience in a scaling business
    • Great communication skills with a variety of stakeholders
    • Interested in employment intricacies at all levels
    • Demonstrated ability to create and streamline effective processes
    • High attention to detail and excellent reporting skills
    • Ability to prioritise and manage workload to meet deadlines
    • Can-do, proactive attitude with a strong customer service mindset
    • Efficient user of Microsoft Office suite
    • Relevant qualification


    • Experience in a high growth technology company
    • Demonstrated expertise in organisational design and EVP strategy
