About your new role

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Officer to join our team in our Brisbane Head Office. The key focus of this role will be providing high volume recruitment support and advice to our hiring managers across 80 UniLodge properties.

This is an exciting role with an opportunity to further develop your love of delivering a positive candidate experience! We also have a range of exciting projects in the pipeline that you will get a chance to assist with.

Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Recruitment activities such as advertising, shortlisting, phone screens, interview scheduling and reference checking.
  • Proactive sourcing and building talent pools of potential new employees.
  • Partner with managers to determine requirements for the position and qualities of an ideal candidate.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and assist with the negotiation of terms and conditions.
  • Develop interview guides and position descriptions.
  • Coach Managers on effective interviewing skills.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the HR team as required.
  • Provide advice to management and employees regarding the Employee Assistance Program.


What you’ll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working within a HR team in a high volume recruitment function.
  • A Diploma or degree (or working towards) in HR or relevant field is essential.
  • JobAdder experience will be highly regarded.
  • High level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite of applications.
  • An understanding of Australian HR legislation and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to liaise with a range of senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide evidence of National Police Checks.
