Join the Attack Class submarine program, the largest and most ambitious defence acquisition program Australia has ever undertaken. Professional challenges don’t come any bigger than this.

In this newly created long-term contract opportunity, you will work independently but within an existing Recruitment Team to project manage the recruitment of our future engineers, trades and production staff to work both locally and be prepared to relocate to France as part of their work.

You will lead, plan and manage end to end recruitment activities across this portfolio and your partnering capabilities will ensure that you develop a deep understanding of your portfolio's opportunities and challenges - predominately those involved with international movements. Success in this role will be shown when you effectively partner with your stakeholders and apply best-practice recruitment processes so that the right people are recruited for the right job, at the right time.

You will be responsible for:

  • Drive the recruitment workforce plan within your portfolio to ensure recruitment milestones are met

  • Solid experience working autonomously in a recruitment or a HR Business function to deliver quality high volume end-to-end recruitment activities

  • Experience managing the complexities involved in recruiting an internationally mobile workforce

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to advise, influence and negotiate with stakeholders and candidates

  • Experience recruiting across the engineering, trades and/or production disciplines will be highly regarded

As part of our team, you will be challenged. You will get to work on a project from its infancy and contribute from the start. You will grow as the program evolves over the next 50 years, and you will work alongside some of the brightest minds from around the world.
