About The Role

Role Location- 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type- 9 months fixed-term; full time

The Employee Journey Expert- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Programs is responsible for the delivery of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recruitment programs support within ANZ and for driving our resourcing strategy in order to enable ANZ to create a diverse and inclusive workplace. The role is located within the Supporting you with your Career squad, Joiners and Movers Tribe in Talent and Culture in Australia

The role requires you to closely engage with key stakeholders across the bank, building strong relationships and engaging with your external network to promote career opportunities within ANZ. This is a varied role which will encompass professional recruitment consultations with managers, talent mapping and creating a variety of different sourcing strategies to support business growth and success. A key focus area will be partnering with external providers to deliver recruitment services.

Your key accountabilities will include-
  • Engagement with business units to gain a thorough understanding of their business needs, whilst promoting the value and need for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural considerations in recruitment and selection
  • Managing and developing an effective and innovative network of key external and internal contacts in order to enable the attraction of the best Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander talent to ANZ.
  • Collaborating with recruitment teams and hiring managers to deliver Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recruitment campaigns.
  • Providing SME support on the end-to-end recruitment process specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander hiring, ensuring that both the candidate and the hiring manager experience is top of mind.
  • Educating the hiring community and providing advisory support on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recruitment.
  • Ensuring effective reporting of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander hiring targets and operating costs.

  • Adaptable to the changing landscape externally and internally
  • Ideally, this role would suit someone from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background.
  • Recruitment experience preferred
