JOB DESCRIPTION

An exciting new role has been created to welcome an experienced talent acquisition specialist with leadership capabilities into this highly productive, busy internal recruitment team. Located within the leafy inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne, you will be reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition as a key member of the leadership team, leading by example with a small portfolio of key vacancies to manage and a small team of talent acquisition professionals to lead.

With a mix of functional and strategic priorities, you will be tasked with assisting the Head of Talent Acquisition with developing a strategic blueprint for key growth areas including: Technology, Digital, Customer Experience and Merchandise. Drawing on your years of experience in end-to-end recruitment processes, your portfolio of internal hiring managers and vacancies will be met head on with your proactive approach to sourcing, market mapping and talent pipelining; and your team inspired to follow in your footsteps.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new ways to engage, attract, source and pipeline talent
  • Mentoring and coaching the wider Talent Acquisition team
  • Project planning, execution and reporting - building a data and metric mindset across the team
  • Proactively investigating and trialling new technologies, tools and techniques

This is a hands-on role and will require a commercial and robust personality to succeed. You must have strong, high volume recruitment experience, proficiency using a variety of recruitment systems, demonstrated experience in executive search across various disciplines and will preferably hold degree qualifications in Human Resources.
