We are looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant who has come from industry (financial services), or who has a background in recruitment to join our team on a full time basis. You will be required to:

  • Meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Build on his/her and B & K Consulting’s profile and reputation
  • Grow our client base (employer and candidate)

Tasks and Duties

  • Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to design and execute the overarching and end-to end recruitment strategy within your assigned portfolio.
  • Utilise knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business
  • Sourcing vacancies and attracting new business through smart, targeted business development strategies and fostering trusted and long term relationships.
  • Work with clients to know the ins and outs of their departments and better understand their hiring needs and job specifications
  • Liaising with clients to obtain a detailed analysis of vacant positions and recording relevant information such as pre-requisite qualifications, employment type, salary and wage conditions and detailed position descriptions.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interview plan for each position.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and develop position descriptions and job ads on behalf of clients to post through appropriate search sources.
  • Source and attract candidates via a variety of search techniques, such as social media, job boards, head hunting, networks and referrals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date candidate data base including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other candidate relationships
  • Talent pooling and pipe lining qualified candidates.
  • Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout interview process from interview preparation to assisting with final offer negotiation
  • using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods, including question and assessment preparation.
  • Follow up on interview process status and update records in internal database
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with clients and candidates and work as part of a passionate team to maximise commercial performance

Key Attributes

  • Bachelor Degree highly regarded or relevant work experience in lieu of formal qualifications
  • 3 – 5 years + 360 recruitment experience from a relevant market with demonstrable track record in developing new business OR 5+ years’ experience in a sales and service discipline within financial services
  • Business decision making and knowledge – Ability to make effective judgements on available data / knowledge
  • Influencing - Ability to influence others
  • Building Relationships - Ability to build relationships, interact sensitively, use effective networks
  • Planning and Organising – Ability to identify the steps to be taken to achieve objectives
