Exciting 3 month opportunity for an experienced HSE Consultant in a government department.

Your new company
We are currently partnered with our client on their search to find a HSE consultant to join their team on a 3 month engagement with an immediate start.

Your new role
Being a key team member of the team some responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Monitoring and reviewing compliance with relevant standards
• Leading and reporting internal investigations to identify opportunities for improvement
• Providing support and advice on practices to the internal team
• Ensuring maintenance of records of investigations and procedures
• Support the development of HSE practices and culture
• Reviewing JSA’s and providing advice when required

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
• Investigation qualification such as ICAM
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Experience in manufacturing or mining highly desired

You will also be required to obtain a satisfactory national security clearance and a pre-employment medical.
