Senior Recruitment Consultant

You are an experienced recruitment professional looking for a change or the next step in your career. You will come into an established team with a large portfolio of Local and State Government clients with a focus on growth into new markets.

You will take pride in providing a high level of customer service using your recruitment experience to source the best talent in market, whilst collaborating with your clients and candidates to secure win-win outcomes.

We are a community minded organisation with dedicated divisions for Recruitment and Labour-hire, Indigenous Employment, Disability Employment and Group Training.

About the Role

Reporting to the Team Leader – Office & Professional, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients in Government and Private Sectors
  • Growing your client base by pro-actively sourcing new opportunities
  • End-to-end recruitment for both temporary and permanent vacancies
  • Creating and building talent pools and candidate networks
  • Sourcing candidates, ad writing, screening, interviewing and shortlisting
  • Managing both client and candidate expectations to secure win-win outcomes
  • Administrative compliance

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in Recruitment managing a professional services portfolio
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced stakeholder and client relationship management skills
  • A pro-active mindset, focusing on seeking solutions to problems
  • Solid administrative and computer skills
  • A current driver’s license is essential
  • Experience or exposure to assessment centre formats will be highly regarded.
