Job Description

With a purpose to connect people and products, our Group Human Resources (HR) is pivotal in building the organisational capability and effectiveness to enable us to accomplish our goal. A rare opportunity now exists to join our HR Services Team as a strategic Human Resources Business Partner supporting our leaders and operations in Tasmania.

Reporting to the Group General Manager, Human Resources Operations and located in Launceston you will accountable for:

providing advice and support to leaders on a range of industrial instruments and issues
advising on workforce management matters including but not limited to misconduct, performance, employment conditions and terminations
undertake complex workplace investigations to assist in the resolution of grievances
support and coordinate cyclic people activities including performance reviews and succession planning
assisting HSE and Injury Management team
supporting change management for regional businesses and functions

Qualifications

To be successful you will have:
extensive HR generalist experience from complex and fast paced operational environments
demonstrated knowledge in IR and ER capable of interpreting industrial instruments
proven business partnering with managers across workforce planning and change management
a track record in delivering HR initiatives
well developed interpersonal skills capable of engaging and building trusted relationships
a values based approach with the ability to make sound evidence based decisions
drivers licence and willingness to travel is essential
