Organisational Diversity & Inclusion Consultant

Green Light Worldwide seeks to employ an Organisational Diversity Equity & Inclusion Consultant. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering a range of diversity workforce plans and initiatives that support a culture of inclusion and respect, and effective people management policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with Senior Leadership provide subject matter expertise on specific dimensions of DEI to develop the overall D&I strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (HR Business Partners, Employee and Labour Relations, Marketing, Corporate Communications Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, etc.) to drive execution of a comprehensive strategic plan and integrate expertise, policies, and practices to further the DEI mission.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities for growth, promote adoption of inclusive practices, and communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Provide thought leadership, recommendations and consultation to create action plans that integrate DEI best practices into business strategies and objectives.
  • Partner with Organisational Development to create, launch and facilitate company wide DEI training and development opportunities for all levels of employees.
  • Maintains current industry knowledge to remain up to date on current best practices and legal developments to continually enhance diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
  • Collaborative create goals and measurements to assess progress on outcomes to meet the DEI mission.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Social Science or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in diversity and inclusion practice in complex organisations including not for profit.
  • Previous experience in developing and implementing strategies, policies and resources with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
  • Specific experience and specialist knowledge of Disability and workforce flexibility. Other experience in diversity including Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander and CALD is also sought.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in facilitation of diversity forums and training.
  • Effective project management and change management skills ensuring effective implementation.
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, staff, people leaders and external organisations.
  • Consultation, coaching and/or facilitator experience.
