JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Sydney Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) team is seeking an L&OD Assistant, 4 days per week on a 12-month fixed term contract reporting to the Learning and OD Manager based in Sydney. This role will be an integral part of the national L&OD team which provides learning programs to employees and Partners of the firm.

We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated professional with skills and some experience in administration. You will be articulate and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a positive, proactive team player.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Administration of L&OD sessions nationally through our Learning Management System, Saba.
  • Manage recorded content into Saba.
  • Schedule orientation for each office.
  • Monitor and follow up new starters on their online training modules to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate online compliance modules e.g. Anti-Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying
  • Support CPD compliance - answer queries and understand the variances in each jurisdiction
  • Report on CPD activities across the firm and to support lawyers in meeting legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate CPD reporting to external legal regulatory bodies (fortnightly in WA)
  • Assist the National L&OD Adviser with any national programs, including end to end national graduate orientation and local grad / clerk orientations
  • Coordinate the graduate secretarial orientation program
  • Administration support for Excellence Programs, mentoring programs and other short-course learning programs (virtual and in-person).

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree or TAFE qualified in Human Resources or alike (advantageous)
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excel and Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Experience using an Learning Management System (advantageous)
  • Experience working within the professional services industry (advantageous)
