The Role
  • 12 month, full time, fixed term contract.
  • Based at the Endeavour Foundation Support Centre in Cannon Hill.
  • To be a trusted advisor to leaders, coaching and providing advice on people concerns and challenges associated with achieving their strategic and operational objectives.


You Will
  • Be the first point of contact to ensure leaders are provided with accurate and timely advice regarding all industrial relations, employee engagement and performance management matters.
  • Coach and guide leaders in relation to staff grievances and ensure actions taken for resolution are in line with the relevant industrial instrument and internal requirements.
  • Provide advice and support to leaders on a range of employee related matters and work with leaders to address concerns before they escalate.
  • In conjunction with Customer Safeguarding, participate and provide advice in relation to the Organisation’s complaints and abuse reporting processes.
  • Support leaders to follow appropriate processes in relation to performance management.
  • Coach leaders to develop the competence and confidence required to perform their people management responsibilities effectively.
  • Support the delivery of people experience initiatives and projects to ensure project goals and timeframes are met.


About You
  • Tertiary qualifications related to Business, Psychology or Human Resources or significant progress towards qualification with relevant experience.
  • 2 years’ experience providing advice and guidance on performance and disciplinary matters
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, influencing and advising leaders on all areas of the employment lifecycle.
  • Experience managing and responding to external claims including, Unfair Dismissals, General Protections, Work Cover
  • Ability to identify risks and issues, then collaborate, coach and support leaders to develop solutions to minimise risk.
  • Open to feedback and developing others
  • Proactively addresses issues with a solutions focus
