Brand new and exciting role for a financial crime subject matter expert looking to develop in a senior space and take the lead on high profile activity into suspected breaches affecting the industries regulated by the VBA. Join our compliance and enforcement team and pave the way for contemporary risk-based and intelligence led projects relating to financial crime and illegal phoenix activity that will provide valuable insight into potential high-risk practitioners within the building and plumbing industry in Victoria.

In this brand new and unique role you will analyse complex data and intelligence in an effort to detect and document high risk activity, undertake end-to-end risk assessment, investigation and enforcement activities into suspected breaches of legislation and conduct due diligence on suspected financial crimes affecting the industries regulated by the VBA.

Who we are looking for

 - Experienced in investigations, evidence gathering and/or data analysis in a regulatory or compliance environment
 - Experience in managing your own projects and meeting deadlines
 - High level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data, trends, risks and find effective solutions
 - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, negotiate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders and produce briefs, reports and recommendations
 - Strong stakeholder management with the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders
