Our main manufacturing and operations base is located at YATALA in Queensland (between the Gold Coast and Brisbane). We are only a 10 minute drive North of Dreamworld on the M1 Motorway.

Reporting directly to the Human Resources and Training Manager, the successful candidate will seek a genuine, generalist opportunity at a HR Officer level, to provide hands-on assistance and:
  • facilitate and promote open, positive workplace communication, staff engagement and advocacy for the needs of our people and our company.
  • source, identify, bring onboard and monitor quality people, to meet the growing needs of our business, whilst providing constructive and developmental feedback along the way.
  • maintain and develop existing HR systems and instruments, to provide management with clear and precise information, analysing the heartbeat of our business.
  • support and actively promote the decisions and direction of company management.
Key duties for the role include:

1) Recruitment and Selection processes: advertising, sourcing, interviewing, recommending candidates for commencement.
2) Performance Appraisal/Management processes: sourcing information, collaborating with company management and section Supervisors, presenting findings/reports and assisting our staff to receive and consider feedback given.
3) Maintenance of the HR administration sphere: requests for leave, documentations, staff correspondence, monthly staff newsletter, toolbox meeting minutes, key HR statistics and trending.
4) Delivering professional, concise and forward-driven reporting instruments to the company management group: analytics, histories, trending, recommendations for improvement.
5) Participation in some cross-departmental projects: working with Operations, Production, Technical, Administration, Quality and Training teams.
6) Interpreting IR instruments and updates: relevant to the tools used by the company and also more generally, within the IR landscape across Australia
7) Coordinating company Rehabilitation and Return To Work processes: liaising with relevant departments.

1) The successful candidate must possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
2) Candidates possessing recent and verifiable work experience in a HR generalist role will be highly regarded. Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering and/or construction assignments will also be highly regarded.
3) The successful candidate will possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in building open, positive relationships with stakeholders. Candidates with previous experience in employee counseling will be highly regarded – we embrace the Non-Violent Communication model (Dr Marshall Rosenberg).
4) The successful candidate will display well-developed analytical and reporting skills, with an emphasis on precision, accuracy and concision. Accomplishment in the MS Suite of programs is required, with an emphasis on intermediate MS Excel skills.
5) Current RRTWC qualification holders + candidates with previous experience in these duties will be highly regarded.
