The Opportunity

We are looking for a talent acquisition partner to join our team and take ownership of the TA function. Given the early stage of the company, you will devise our overall TA strategy and build a talent pipeline to help us grow rapidly. This will include identifying and engaging potential talent partners, defining our approach and process to sourcing talent from overseas and making sure that our organisational structure is aligned to our strategic goals.

In addition, you will assist in designing our overall employee experience and managing various aspects in the employment lifecycle.

This is a hands-on, in the trenches role, and we are looking for candidates who take full ownership of what they do and are comfortable moving quickly from strategic thinking to execution. While this is a full-time role and an ongoing need for us, we are open to discuss flexible working arrangements as well as part-time work for the right candidate.


  • Designing and leading the implementation of a talent acquisition strategy
  • Helping define our organisational structure and the various roles within it
  • Building a talent recruitment pipeline, identifying potential talent sources, and improving our interview process.
  • Overseeing the recruitment process from initial contact to making an offer
  • Reaching out to potential candidates to initiate a recruitment process
  • Building a process and plan for sourcing talent from abroad
  • Building a strategy and plan for our employee value proposition

Required Skills and Background

  • Experience and know-how in designing a talent acquisition strategy for an organisation, ideally in a start-up or technology environment
  • Experience building recruitment pipelines, as well as participating in hands-on recruitment work
  • Sharp strategic thinker, capable of thinking outside the box and findings “hacks” that will enable us to attain and retain top talent
  • Autonomous, self-driven with a “get things done” mentality
  • Has the right to work in Australia
