  • Annual Salary Range: $87,640 - $99,438 per annum plus superannuation

About the Team
The People and Business Services Division provides business enabling people and corporate services functions, to drive a high-performance culture and to support integrated operations.

About the Opportunity
The HR Systems Advisor provides support and professional advice relating to HR and system improvement and processes working in conjunction with other teams across the DoT business. This role will also provide key advisory services for position management within our organisational structure, ensuring that positional changes are made in accordance with our HR instrument of delegation.
The successful candidate will also play an instrumental role working closely with our technical support teams in consuming data between multiple payroll systems. The HR Systems Advisor will analyse large sets of employee data, which will include data mapping and data integrity along with developing and implementing data cleansing solutions.

About You

  • Experience with data integration and cleansing while working towards a common goal of accurate and up to date HR data.
  • Experience working with a large stakeholder group.
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to determine underlying needs of clients to form credible and effective relationships and networks with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Highly developed organizational skills to ensure program activities assigned are monitored, reviewed, and actioned in line with agreed timeframes.
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills with the ability to meet the target audience needs.
  • Under broad supervision, effectively negotiate and influence suppliers to maximize cost saving opportunities for the organisation.
  • Ability to work with complex data to identify gaps and integrity issues.
  • Able to demonstrate applying best practice approach to ongoing data cleansing exercises.
  • Ability to work well within a team and navigate a large and complex workplace.

  • Experience with HR Systems such as Chris21, Empower or ABB Payroll systems
  • Intermediate knowledge of scripting language such as SQL
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience relevant to the capabilities of the role.
