Learning & Development Manager

How will I help?

As the Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for deploying Westpac learning and development frameworks, programs, and tools to enable Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention (FCFP) to develop and uplift people capability in alignment with the FCFP capability framework.

The role will facilitate training needs analysis, drive the development and execution of learning and talent development plans, creation, improvement, and delivery of training programs. The role will be critical in driving the growth and development of employees by equipping them with the relevant skills and knowledge to fulfil their responsibilities and deliver on business goals.

The Learning & Development Manager will drive operational excellence through effective people leadership and collaboration, strong ownership of FCFP learning and development programs and initiatives in alignment with the bank’s HR policies and programs whilst continuously seeking opportunities to continuously improve.

What do I need?

The successful applicant will have a background in Learning & Development, ideally having experience within Financial Services. You are a self-starter and can bring an enthusiastic and unique attitude for designing and implementing new ways of working.

You have demonstrated abilities to successfully deliver and manage competing priorities and are influential, engaging, and passionate about delivering high quality learning and development training.

You can showcase excellence in your verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder engagement is second nature and you can develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the team, division and wider group
