What we are looking for

As an experienced Talent Capability Specialist, who will report to the Group Manager of Talent & Organisational Capability to assist in implementing the group wide talent management strategy. As a hands on Talent Management Specialist your main responsibility will be to develop and manage contemporary talent management practices across the organisation.

Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to:

  • Aligning positions and organisational structures with the talent framework and the People Learning Strategy
  • Use people data and consulting with key stakeholders, to provide analysis to identify identifying gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Evaluate new and innovative strategies and programs, best practice in organisational learning and development, identifying and recommend the application of new approaches and techniques
  • Build talent frameworks and development pathways to uplift capability and support organisational growth
  • Drive employee and organisational capability with the provision and implementation of organisational talent tools, processes and frameworks
  • Optimise talent management technologies for group wide performance
  • Change management - Educate and support the business to drive talent management practises
  • Coordinate the group wide performance cycle and talent review process
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors relating to Learning & Development
  • Develop formal future leaders’ programs and career pathways in conjunction with the learning and development team

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Prior 5+ years’ experience in Talent Management
  • Tertiary qualification in Organisational Development / Psychology / Change Management or HR
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in an atmosphere of changing priorities and circumstances
