About the Role:  

Under the direction of the Staff Development Coordinator, the Training Office will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of effective learning and development programs and organisational development initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • In-depth understanding and adherence to NDIS and disability legislation and principles in the provision of services.
  • Demonstrate and promote a human rights-based approach in application of duties.
  • Possess a clear understanding of CLO's duties and obligations in the compliance with sector legislation and guidelines.
  • Always apply and work within CLO's code
  • Within the scope of the role collaborate effectively and professionally with all members of Team CLO.
  • Effectively support staff and team members to utilise the learning and development systems and platforms.
  • Support management and the learning and development team with leave coverage, workloads, and project management within CLO.
  • Facilitate quality training as aligned to the CLO training plan and CLO policies.
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate staff learning and development programs as aligned to CLOs training plan
  • Administrate CLOs on-line Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate recording of training records and data.
  • Develop and facilitate relevant 'in-house' training sessions
  • Liaise with and support other training providers to ensure setup and equipment requirements are provided.
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc learning and development reports to leadership on training output, outcomes, and effectiveness.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders
  • Deliver and contribute to the development of CLOs induction programs
  • Identify and recommend areas of improvement as part of learning and development planning.

To be successful:

You will be naturally confident building strong relationships and delivering effective training and development solutions. You have worked in a Training and Development position before and have experience with training needs analysis. You will have outstanding communication skills with the ability to foster relationships with the broader organisation to understand their training requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • Current 'C Class' Driver's Licence
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or DHS Disability Services Employment Screening
  • Certificate IV in TAE or equivalent
  • Previous relevant experience delivering training
  • Flexible working hours
  • Must participate in development programs as required
  • Must satisfy all Visa requirements to work in Australia
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to apply computing concepts
