About the role:

As a crucial member of the HR Team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will have ownership for all areas of Talent Acquisition for Australia and New Zealand. With a strong focus on collaboration, this role will build strong relationships with business leaders and HR Business Partners to continue to build upon our dynamic, high performance culture.

This role has the opportunity to partner with the wider HR Team and business on strategic projects should you desire - the sky’s the limit!

A typical day for you looks like:

  • Manage end to end recruitment activity including: identify, attract, interview, engage and onboard talent into Bluestone in a timely, diverse and cost effective manner in partnership with our leaders.
  • Develop and execute fit for purpose recruitment strategies/plans.
  • Provide advice and insight to Managers on our employee value proposition and talent related initiatives.
  • Monitor, review and report on recruitment costs - outlining, identifying and recommending potential cost savings and improved processes.
  • Ongoing maintenance of recruitment policies and processes that are consistent with excellent and efficient client service.
  • Maintain and build upon monthly and ad-hoc recruitment reporting dashboards. 
  • Explore Bluestone’s social media presence and networks within the financial services and fintech industries to attract and source talent.
  • Build capability of hiring managers to ensure organisational, cultural and motivational fit are aligned with Bluestone.
  • If you have capacity, you’ll partner with the HRBPs to build upon Bluestone's diversity & inclusion principles and ensure they are reflected in recruitment practices 
  • If working on employer of choice and employer value proposition initiatives interests you, you can partner with the HRBPs to expand and challenge your knowledge.

Skills & experiences you’ll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience as an external or in-house recruitment/talent acquisition specialist with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong demonstrated talent acquisition experience of identifying and engaging high quality candidates.
  • Results orientated.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Sound critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple roles.
  • Ability to communicate with people who have diverse levels of technical expertise.
  • Ability to anticipate and handle setbacks proactively, taking ownership of agreed activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
