About The Role

We?re seeking a flexible, enthusiastic, and professional Recruitment Assistant to support our management team through our period of rapid growth. As part of the recruitment process, you'll frequently liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, therefore excellent interpersonal skills is a must!

As a respected and important part of our team, you?ll play an important part in ensuring that our recruitment function runs smoothly! You will be responsible for professionally communicating with internal and external job seekers and stakeholders, flawlessly handling confidential matters, and managing multiple priorities with a great deal of care.

In addition to recruiting you will be tasked with advising on HR matter from time to time.

Travel will be required as part the engagement of our contractors as we service many regional areas as part of our install program.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Providing strategic high-quality support to a friendly, busy, tight-knit management team
  • Screening resumes and application materials
  • Recruiting & On boarding new trade teams in areas identified by the business.
  • Performing reference checks
  • Assisting with following up on compliance documents
  • Performing data entry duties
  • Drafting contracts
  • Creating job ads
  • Performing ad hoc administrative duties as requested by management team

About You

In this role, you will effectively manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment. You will be self-motivated, proactive, and work with a high level of autonomy.

You Will Also Have
  • Strong organisational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly
  • Previous experience working within a trade based environment preferred
  • 1+ years of recruitment / HR experience is preferred
  • Polished and friendly communication skills
  • Advanced computer literacy skills - MS 365 & SharePoint experience essential
  • Proven data entry skills
  • Exceptional communication skills ? Professional, tactful, and timely
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude towards change
