- Under guidance of the HR Business Partner - coach managers and coordinators on strategies to proactively address HR matters such as employee grievances, complaints, allegations and or other performance matters;
- Interpret relevant legislation, awards and policies to assist managers with understanding obligations and requirements;
- Provide project management support and HR expertise to the business with specific related projects;
- Provide administrative and support services regarding the preparation of the range of documents, contracts and services completed in the HR team.
- Minimum 5 years of continuous and current experience in a HR advisory role;
- Experience in interpreting and applying employee related legislation, awards and policy;
- Thorough knowledge of Modern Awards, the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards;
- Tertiary qualification in a Human Resources Management discipline (desirable);
- Experience implementing a HR Information System (desirable);
- Previous experience in an Not For Profit or Community Services environment (desirable).

About the role
As part of the Human Resources team within the People and Culture program, this position provides a wide range of human resources (HR) and industrial relations (IR) proactive support and advice to the operational business units within CatholicCare to improve the capabilities and performance of both individuals and teams.
This is a Permanent Full-time positions and Flexible Working Arrangements to work from home and the office may be considered.
