About Our Client

My client is a leading international technology business that works closely with the financial services industry. This role will report in to the Head of Talent based overseas and will work closely with the local HR team.

Job Description

The Technical Recruiter will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Provides an effective and consultative service to all stakeholders
  • Responsible for full life cycle recruitment from sourcing, screening and selection to negotiation, offer and close, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with Stakeholders, vendors and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
  • Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
  • Leverages online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates and participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies
  • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques and lead the way in industry best practices
  • Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation in our recruitment system on all candidates, hiring manager's interactions, and other recruiting activities
  • Proactively provides data and market insights to stakeholders and business leaders
  • Partners with HR and Talent Development to ensure we have a joined-up approach to talent management

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following during interview:

  • Extensive experience managing full life-cycle recruiting gained within the IT industry
  • Extensive experience of recruiting across both Australia and Asia with a deep knowledge of the talent markets in both regions
  • Solid background using direct sourcing strategies to identify and hire top technical sales talent to include Sales Reps (Acquisition/Business Development), Solution Architects, Presales Consultants, Professional Services
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with Hiring Managers and Leaders
  • The ability to influence key stakeholders with the courage to challenge and set expectations
  • Solution orientated, able to solve complex recruitment problems and challenges
  • A drive for results, able to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed
  • Process and data orientated, understands the importance of data within a talent acquisition function
