The Role

An experienced Generalist, Business Partner supporting the branches across Victoria. You will partner closely with Area and Branch Managers to ensure you represent the company’s values by leading a positive and professional manner throughout your day within the business.

Duties would include

  • Lead by example, coach managers in effective people management and performance
  • Developing effective staff tools
  • Design and develop training programs
  • Develop a professional onbarding experience for employees
  • Review and develop position descriptions when required
  • Performance reviews
  • Manage employee relations
  • Return to work management
  • Engage in project work, workplace agreement reviews, culture build and planning
  • Adhoc Administrative tasks

Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of employment law, VIC.
  • Ability to build relationships with managers and other staff
  • Manage performance and disciplinary processes
  • Fair Work Commission experience
  • Coaching and values-based leader
  • Recruitment of blue-collar workers preferred but not essential
  • Experience with HRIS and or LMS
  • Qualification in Business HR or Psychology is desirable
  • Previous experience as an Advisor, Business Partner or similar
