Synergy has a rare opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Health and Safety Operations Manager within our Sustainability Business Unit based at our Perth CBD office.

We’re Looking For An Inspiring Person Who Will

  • Effectively leading a team of health and safety professionals from across the operational sites of Synergy to provide timely health and safety advice and support to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategies and business plans to create and maintain a pro-active health and safety culture across the operational sites of Synergy
  • Plan and deliver health and safety management systems and strategies
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance and provide timely advice, coaching and guidance to influence improved performance where required
  • Ensure systems processes and procedures are developed and maintained to meet applicable health and safety legislative requirements
  • To facilitate and lead effective incident investigations and provide support to this process as required

Our ideal candidate will possess the following experience and attributes:
  • Degree qualifications or equivalent in Health and Safety
  • Formal training in OHS management systems auditing and incident investigation
  • Proactively demonstrate and be an advocate of Synergy’s values and behaviours
  • Preferably 10+ years within a similar industry
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and statutory requirements
  • Effective stakeholder management skills and capability
