About the Role:
Based in Melbourne, VIC and reporting into the Health Team Leader – the Health and Injury Management Advisor role is to provide health, injury management and wellbeing support to the business. 

This is a permanent full time position. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for a portfolio of cases across various jurisdictions
* Implement injury management processes including early intervention and injury minimization
* Proactively work with health professionals, challenge appropriate treatment strategies
* Develop graduated return to work plans in advance to ensure a safe, durable and timely return to work for injured employees
* Actively participate in claims reviews providing sound advice to the business
* Accurately record information in Solv to ensure compliance with legislation and reporting requirements
* Implement health & wellbeing strategies across the business
* Build health networks to embed health and wellbeing strategies
* Review high risk pre-employment medicals and provide guidance to the business to accommodate restrictions

Key Skills and Experience:
* Tertiary degree qualified in an Allied Health field 
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role 
* Health, injury management and wellbeing experience in an operational environment
* Health surveillance experience
* Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
* Excellent time management and organisational skills 
* Ability to provide clear and concise information to the business
* Proven stakeholder relationship skills
* Passion for continually improving 
* Strong interpersonal skills
