The Role:
The purpose of this role is to deliver engaging and outcome driven facilitation and design of company wide operational training to support the organisational learning strategy and to build on the organisation’s capability through onboarding and ongoing development of their greatest asset - their people!

The role will identify skills-based business needs, governance and compliance processes, and design and implement high quality, relevant, purposeful and engaging blended learning solutions and experience.

Accountabilities:

  • End to end facilitation of key technical learning programs to support the onboarding and skills development of our customer service, sale and operational teams;
  • Assist in the implementation of the existing learning strategy, supporting systems and structures, and provide consultative advice to relevant stakeholders on the implementation and adherence to the learning strategy;
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand learning needs, provide potential solutions and implement solutions to agreed quality and timeframes;
  • Participate in training needs analysis where relevant, to identify areas and skill gaps where learning intervention can support;
  • Collaborate with internal departments and teams to design, develop and implement training content for new hire training and onboarding, technical and ongoing professional learning and development needs;
  • Design, develop, deliver and evaluate learning solutions to ensure business objectives, values, goals and/or specific team requirements are supported;
  • Ensure training documentation complies with relevant industry legislation and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards and ensure internal governance processes are met. Continually review and update resources to ensure relevancy and communicate all changes to relevant stakeholders.


Knowledge and Experience:

This position will suit a vibrant flexible trainer who has prior experience in a Learning & Development environment. We are looking for someone with a ‘can do attitude’, who thrives in a fast pace environment and is hungry to learn. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate with the following skills and experience:

  • End to end design, facilitation and assessment of operational training programs
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable but not essential);
  • Understanding of training/learning processes, theories and methodologies including adult learning principles and styles;
  • Demonstrated ability in the application of instructional design principles and ideally with a level of exposure to online learning design;
  • Ability to build highly effective consultative and collaborative relationships;
  • Skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel &PowerPoint; and
  • Experience in a dynamic service-focused organization.
