About the role


An exciting opportunity now exists to join the People and Culture team at Eastern Health in the role of Talent Acquisition Advisor within our highly motivated Talent Acquisition team. Reporting to the Associate Director - Talent Acquisition, this role will provide a proactive approach to talent acquisition and onboarding of new employees to ensure future workforce requirements and demands are met ahead of time and in accordance with Eastern Health's defined growth milestones. The Talent Acquisition advisor will work closely with Eastern Health leaders and the HR Advisory team and Business Partners to drive recruitment initiatives and provide an innovative all round recruitment service.


The Talent Acquisition Advisor will support, assist and educate our recruiting managers during their recruitment process and will ensure new employees of Eastern Health are provided with an efficient onboarding experience and candidate journey. This is a permanent full time position. 



About you 


To be successful in this role you should possess:



  • Qualifications and/or significant experience in Human Resources

  • High level competence in recruitment administrative processes and talent acquisition

  • Creative thinking skills 

  • Experience working in the health industry (desirable)

  • Highly developed interpersonal experience

  • An ability to consult and collaborate with others

  • A good understanding of current EBAs and relevant legislation

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
