Reporting to the Branch Head Operations- You will provided leadership oversight and management of the NDIS Commission New South Wales team. In doing so you will:
Ensure the efficient and effective operational performance of the State Office across all functions.

Lead a collaborative, cohesive and integrated multi-disciplinary team of executive level leaders, and their teams so that the experience of people with disability, providers and other stakeholders engaging with the Commission is effective, consistent and high quality.

Lead local stakeholder engagement and maintain stakeholder relationships for effective operation of the NDIS Commission in New South Wales.

Engage effectively with NDIS Commission staff, particularly the executive leadership, other State/Territory Directors, policy and corporate leaders to achieve effective performance and integration of NDIS Commission functions across New South Wales.

Drive compliance and enforcement outcomes that continuously improve the quality and safety of supports and services to people with disability across the NDIS market and workforce.
Exercise good judgement in assessing and responding to regulatory risks and provide high quality briefings and advice on complex and/or sensitive issues to the Branch Head Operations, and the NDIS Commission’s Executive Leadership Team.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to facilitate the effective operation of the NDIS Commission and the NDIS market for people with disability.
Implement the NDIS Commission’s policy and procedures for risk management, workplace health and safety, human resources, record keeping, facility management, collection and reporting of data.

Represent the NDIS Commission at internal and external forums, and initiate and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders.

Build capability in a team environment through effective and contemporary human resource management, performance management and staff development activities.
