Our business is growing so we need the help of an experience internal recruiter to help us attract, hire and retain amazing candidates. If you are looking for the next step in internal recruitment, then answer these questions:

This is a full-time role based in our Parramatta office, with travel to our Sutherland office at least once a week.

About the Role

As our newly appointed Talent Acquisition Specialist you will head up all recruitment processes including strategy and execution of new ideas you introduce. You will be responsible for the entire recruitment and onboarding lifecycle process.

This role has been created to support business growth where you will have the opportunity to make a quick impact.

Who are you?

You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an internal recruitment role, ideally with exposure to working in the finance industry.

You will have superb communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders. You are bubbly, energetic and have loads of ideas.

Your day-to-day

In addition to implementing new ideas for attracting the business talent to support business growth and give our candidates the best possible experience, you will lead the following:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to write job ads for open roles
  • Be creative in using various channels to attract talent
  • Consider and implement creative ways to assess candidates (for example, assessment centres)
  • Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
  • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
  • Applying critical research and detailed analysis into advertising platforms and databases
  • Conduct phone interviews to filter through candidates who meet minimum requirements
  • Arrange and conduct face-to-face interviews per site with TPMs, using various and reliable interviewing techniques
  • Coordinate relevant reference checks on suitable candidates verifying desirable information
  • Provide constructive acceptance or decline feedback to candidates
