As the Functions Learning Lead in our Business Learning team (part of the broader Learning, Leadership & Talent team), you will be responsible for re-imagining learning for each of our supporting business Functions, ensuring that we’re growing capable leaders at all levels and meeting the changing needs of our business, our clients and the market. Your impact will be seen by:

  • Partnering with our internal Functions teams to assess and communicate learning needs and suggest appropriate learning solutions
  • Analysing learning needs across the Functions, from our clients and across the market, including evolving regulatory and industry requirements
  • Working with the Human Capital Business Partner community, overseeing the Functions learning plans for how our people build their capability, across all of the Functions
  • Driving the implementation and execution of a comprehensive learning program aligned to the needs of each Function line as well as consider whole of Functions initiatives, with measurable ROI
  • Input to One Firm Learning priorities, and partner with One Firm Learning Manager to ensure fit for purpose and high impact learning
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within each part of Functions and ensuring their individual and collective needs are met
  • Supporting reporting needs on a recurring basis to collect, analyse and report on data related to learning programs; working closely with the Human Capital Insights and Systems team.
  • Exploring more contemporary workplace learning channels and initiatives to prepare our people and the Functions for future workforce needs
  • In collaboration with other parts of ‘Learning, Leadership & Talent’, designing and delivering new ways of developing capabilities and skills, and potentially facilitating learning experiences for internal Functions teams


About you

You have a background in learning and development and/or organisational development gained in complex environments and are skilled at creating a differentiated experience for clients. You have experience and expertise is in dealing with stakeholders of all levels; in particular with senior executive levels.
