JOB DESCRIPTION

  • 12 month contract to commence immediately
  • Melbourne CBD location, or remote working option
  • Exciting opportunity to work for a multi-national oil and gas company



Our client is a multi-national oil and gas company, involved in a range of activities such as exploring natural gas and crude oil, refining, transporting and retail nationwide. They are now seeking a HR Systems Consultant to join their team for an initial 12 month contract.



The Role:



  • Support the documentation, testing and deployment of HR systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the HR Systems function
  • Ensure HR Information Systems are the source of truth for satellite HR applications including MyPlan, MyLearning, Global People Data, MyReward, TAS, Timetech, Rosterlive and Pageup
  • Provide HR systems support and guidance to the HR services team.





Accountabilities:

  • Participate in the configuration and set up of HR systems to ensure employees are paid accurately and business reporting requirements are met
  • Build relationships with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure their needs for HR/Payroll are met and exceeded
  • Support system configuration changes and augmentations
  • Act as systems SME to HR Services teams and provide support and advice to the team around effective utilisation of the system and troubleshooting issues as required
  • Support HR Services Teams on system configuration changes and updates that will impact day to day processes
  • Maintain work schedules in Chris21
  • Respond to HR Systems requests across Business
  • Set up and maintain correct user access for HR and payroll systems
  • Ensure systems are compliant with statutory requirements
  • Ensure pay rates are maintained in both payroll and time and attendance software
  • Maintain accuracy of data and lead initiatives to address any deficiencies in data
  • Support and participate in the change management process for local HR Information Systems
  • Support the change management for Global HR Information Systems
  • Support the GPD (Global People Data) quarterly/annual reporting requirements
  • Manage conflicting priorities and the expectations of internal stakeholders.











Experience



  • 2+ years' experience with HR/Payroll systems: Chris21 and Kronos
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting system change methodology
  • Experience using HR and/or payroll systems in support of a complex organisational environment
  • Ability to translate information into systems and recognise any potential issues and gaps
  • Exposure to Payroll and HR service centre environment is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholders management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive CI
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
