About you:

You are a highly regarded and well organised Safety and Wellbeing professional, with exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills. You have the ability to partner at all levels within the organisation. Your written and oral communicate is professional at all times and you bring a creative and practical approach. You thrive in a fast-paced diverse environment and combine your strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.

You have excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills and can work independently to manage and deliver concurrent activities / initiatives. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional values in everything you do.

About the role:

Reporting to the Director – People & Capability, you will partner with senior stakeholders to drive support and enhance the safety and wellbeing of our people within Citizen Services with a focus on managing workers compensation claims and all return to work outcomes with a focus on care of our people. In this position you will be supported by an Injury Services Administrator.

You will partner with other Safety Leaders and participate and contribute to the Serco AsPac Safety and Wellbeing Centre of Excellence. You will also work closely with other key Safety representatives, and will support the implementation of the Safety Management System.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
  • High attention to detail and analytical reporting skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Knowledge of workers compensation legislation across all states and territories
  • Current full Victorian drivers’ license
  • Australian Citizenship
