EGR's Building Products Division also specialises in high volume customised plastics manufacturing, supplying a range of world class decorative vertical surfaces for the Joinery and Design industries.

Due to growth in our offices in Australia, the US and UK, we have an opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and drive our recruitment efforts. We believe that 6 months is a reasonable amount of time to achieve much of what we have planned for this year, but recruitment is not slowing. If the position proves that it can produce the value that I believe it can, it has the potential to extend or progress to full-time. EGR operates at a high pace and our growth plans depend on us finding the right talent. If you can handle both complex passive search assignments as well as direct labor recruitment, we would like to hear from you. You will be working with an experienced Talent Acquisition leader who will support you to be a success.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to create a recruitment strategy that delivers solutions in line with their strategic skill requirements in Australia, the US and UK
  • Partnering with business leaders and People Business Partners to understand current and future talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, building a strong pipeline of talent from multiple sources such LinkedIn, social media, talent pools and specialist suppliers
  • Providing ongoing support to hiring managers in equipping them with skills to apply best practice interview and selection techniques
  • Coordinating interviews and participating in panels, documenting interview notes and candidate profile summaries
  • Participation in implementing an ATS solution
  • Collaborating with all members of the HR team to support strategic initiatives, providing time, skills and effort to projects, ad hoc work assignments and other business demands as directed by the HR Manager
  • Driving a project oriented approach in delivering a solution against tight timeframes to the business
  • Remote delivery of recruitment services to the US and UK

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated skills in a variety of candidate attraction channels with a focus on diversity and unique skill requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage niche search requirements and projects
  • Collaborative approach to talent acquisition with specific focus on stakeholder and candidate management and communication
  • Highly organised with an eye for detail
  • Strong business relationship experience
  • The ability to manage a diverse range of conflicting priorities and coordinate high volume recruitment activities
  • Experience using a variety of recruitment technology platforms
  • Curiosity, a sense of humor and pragmatism
  • Excel skills would be a plus - Yes, this will be your ATS for the first month or so
