About Our Client

The client are now growing into blue collar and white collar industries, in an exciting new location based in Sydney CBD with flexible working available. A reputable brand in the Sydney market at an exciting time of growth.

Job Description

  • Advice on Industrial Instruments - interpreting Modern Awards, Fair Work and everything under the National Employment Standards.
  • Ensuring all contractors are compliant working alongside our global compliance team.
  • Work closely with Payroll to ensure all payment classifications are current and compliant.
  • Assisting the HR with any compliance related queries and complaints.
  • Work alongside the WHS teams, overseeing work rights, referencing, qualifications and licensing are monitored - adapting to local legislation requirements.
  • Documentation and Legislative Updates
  • Work with stakeholders for training purposes and providing updates on changes made to Modern Awards as per Fair Work.

The Successful Applicant

* Experienced with Modern Awards in a previous role in Payroll or HR

* Experience setting up new awards and testing end to end

* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deal with conflict

* Stakeholder management skills, working across all business levels.

* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines in a team environment and autonomously
