$102,754 + 9.5% Super

About the role:
This role will lead in the provision of planning OSH support to the Region for the development of implementation of strategies, plans, processes and initiatives to improve the Region’s Occupational Health and Safety culture and outcomes whilst ensuring legislative and corporate requirements.

What the role will involve:
Coaching of Supervisors and other personnel on OSH responsibilities and accountabilities and provide support to fulfil these accountabilities
Assist in developing and implementing OSH plans and participate in initiatives with the lead team
Participate in planning processes and prepare information required (Analysis information etc.)
Identify the need for new OSH initiatives within the region and develop strategies and action plans for implementing initiatives
Ensure accurate and effective recording of OSH information\
Undertake audits (including compliance checks, equipment inspection and office inspections) and participate in developing action and improvement plans

Key skills and experience:
Degree level qualification in an engineering or business-related discipline
Substantial OSH experience in a large organisation


Relevant post-secondary qualification with significant OSH experience


Substantial experience in leading and providing OSH delivery services and influencing OSH strategies
