The opportunity

We are moving to brand new modern offices in North Sydney, close to public transport. This role reports to the Director, People & Organisation for Oceania and supports the leaders of the business to achieve the people objectives of Novo Nordisk Oceania in a pragmatic and people focussed manner.

The Responsibilities Of The Role

  • Works closely with all people leaders to guide on people processes and conversations, including support on coaching performance guidance, development and performance management and performance improvement
  • Facilitates the recruitment process between AMS and Oceania hiring managers, including strategic direction on proactive search and local market dynamics
  • Facilitates the internal P&O regular processes including annual compensation and review processes, annual surveys and related, including the internal communications, training sessions and debriefs related
  • Coordinates the intake of employee data into HRIS
  • Leads the HR side of the monthly payroll process
  • Provides support in facilitating internal P&O related events such as development workshops and employee representative groups for sustainability and social topics
  • Maintains internal reporting, including the master HR datasheet
  • Prepares general HR paperwork, including letters of offer and change of role details
  • Support in the provision of HR forms to payroll for inclusion, and checking of same each month
  • Leads and coordinates adhoc HR projects as they arise, including new and existing programs based on employee engagement, sustainability or NovoHealth initiatives, including change management
  • Takes an active interest in external HR best practice to introduce innovative ideas and projects to NN Oceania; supports change processes within the business
  • Other duties as necessary
The Requirements

Of The Role
  • Minimum 5 years as an HR Business Partner
  • Extensive experience in recruitment and business partnering
  • Experience with employee relations legislation and performance management actions
  • Experience managing HR projects
  • Experience with presentation and facilitation (leadership development experience an advantage)
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Pragmatic approach with an emphasis on balancing drive for results and care for people
  • Ability to have courageous and diplomatic conversations
