About The Role

Our busy Learning and Development team are seeking an experienced Learning Developer and Facilitator who has mastered supporting the instructional design of predominately technical and digital skills. In this vital role, you will support learning across the organisation through the development and facilitation of face to face and virtual learning programs both individually, and in collaboration with internal subject matter experts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a range of diverse groups and levels of skill.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Will Include
  • Under limited direction, provide instructional design and facilitation of a range of learning activities for both face-to-face and virtual modes of delivery, with a focus on soft skills, digital and technical skills development.
  • Undertake advanced assessment and analysis of learning needs for learning programs.
  • Design, develop and adapt learning materials to support both face-to-face and virtual training sessions.
  • Coach, support and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), both internal and external, to support the effective design and delivery of learning by these SMEs.
  • Work effectively with the Learning Support team to ensure all learning activity in areas of responsibility are accurately scheduled and recorded in the ABC central learning platform.
  • Provide support to learners before, during and after learning activities.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve all programs in areas of responsibility using a range of feedback mechanisms and sources.
  • Provide facilitation of human centred design and brainstorming to support learning program development.


About You

With your keen interest in the development of training as well as facilitation, a technical training background will be advantageous.

You are a passionate professional who enjoys engaging with diverse learners and supporting their technical and soft skills development. You have a high level of multi-modal design and facilitation experience, and experience using a human-centred and inclusive approach to learning program design, development and evaluation.

You will also be able to demonstrate knowledge and practical application of adult learning methodologies and instructional design principles to develop effective multi-modal learning programs
