Reporting to the Global Rewards Manager, you will be the strategic advisor responsible for a range of rewards projects and programs to deliver a competitive, equitable and holistic approach to GHD Rewards. These efforts in turn will ensure that our Rewards programs, policies, practices and systems support our strategic objectives while leveraging current industry trends.

As an expert in the compensation field, the Global Rewards Specialist will be expected to effectively manage projects and Rewards initiatives for our global Digital and Advisory businesses, by interacting with key stakeholders globally and providing consultative advice on technical compensation matters. These Businesses are global with staff in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and the UAE.

As the successful applicant in this role, you will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and a strong background and interest in job evaluation, project management and education.

Some Focus Areas Will Include

  • Working with Global Digital and Advisory leadership teams and the broader business to identify and review compensation priorities
  • Manage the delivery of Rewards programs, initiatives and benchmarking within the global Digital and Advisory businesses
  • Act as a consultant to the Digital and Advisory businesses on compensation issues such as job evaluation, minimum wage reviews, compensation analyses, total compensation reviews and related issues.
  • Work with the Global Rewards team to design and manage Rewards programs and manage program changes
  • Provide and deliver compensation training and education materials to HR and people managers
  • Partner effectively with others on the Total Rewards and HR teams to support workload and execution, sharing/transfer of knowledge, increase understanding of international issues and all aspects and considerations around compensation programs and practices.


We Are Looking For
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a business-related discipline supported by demonstrated experience in a global consulting firm
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing programs, policies and procedures
  • Highly organised work patterns with strong attention to detail – thinking ahead of the curve
  • Proficient project management delivery
  • Strong collaboration and engagement skills with stakeholders at all levels globally
  • Proficient use of MS Office, particularly Excel.

Based in any GHD office in the US (Pacific time zone) or East coast of Australia, this is ideally a 0.8 part time position, although we welcome other applications.
