$104,562 - $119,255 per annum
Woden, ACT

The Department of Health is seeking qualified candidates to join its Learning and Development team.

The key duties of the position include:
Provide support, advice and resolution to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, escalating as required,
Communicate with the target audience in mind,
Apply sound judgement based on available information,
Excellent customer service skills,
Contribute to, develop and evaluate HR policies and guidelines,
Manage and/or participate in relevant committees and networks,
Monitor, investigate and report on learning and development activities,
Partner, liaise and influence internal and external stakeholders,
Support the use and enhancement of departmental systems,
Interpret and apply departmental policy and applicable legislation,
Prepare written correspondence;
Maintain knowledge of best practice learning and applying with the departmental context,
Participate in, and provide input to, team learning and development initiatives,
Undertake research to identify, analyse and resolve issues and problems,
Supervise staff and have operational accountabilities.

Essential qualifications:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Desirable qualifications and experience:
Certificate IV in Human Resources
Advanced Diploma/Bachelor Degree in HR or related discipline
AHRI Certified Practitioner
Relevant Learning and Development experience
