We're responsible for our people plan initiatives, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and supporting the organisation's strategic transformational requirements.

What does the role involve?

Reporting to the “Head of Enterprise Capability & Talent” as the “Manager, Talent” you will be accountable for driving senior leadership succession planning processes, creating talent programs, leading the Emerging Talent Program and driving systems improvements. A rewarding opportunity, you will partner senior leaders, Talent Acquisition and our HR Business Partnering team to deliver proactive talent management initiatives, linking talent with our performance frameworks and elevating our existing talent processes.

Additionally, you will be responsible for;

  • Developing fit for purpose talent and succession management processes to enable the achievement of enterprise strategy and mitigate risk
  • Overseeing annual talent processes
  • Coaching and developing leaders across the business to embed effective talent and succession management practices
  • Collaborating with the business units and the broader COE to implement specific HR programs of work that maximises performance
  • Identifying emerging talent requirements and partner with HRBPs and recruitment to develop solutions
  • Managing the Enterprise Graduate program
What are we looking for?
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or relevant discipline
  • Proven experience developing enterprise wide Talent Programs, implementing and embedding success planning processes and running talent management initiatives
  • Prior exposure with an OD or HRBP position within a large complex organisational structure leading organisational wide change initiatives
  • The ability to be adaptable, resilient, collaborative, work with ambiguity, at pace and a self-starter
  • Clear passion and knowledge of emerging trends in people, safety, employee experience and HR technologies, particularly in relation to talent
