Provide professional HR administrative services across the breadth of HR functions.

As the HR Administrator you will support the People and Culture team to deliver HR related administration tasks across the employee lifecycle.

You will:

  • Assist the People and Culture team with the efficient delivery of HR services to the business.
  • Update and administer HR documentation including the preparation of contracts and maintenance of employee files, HR policies and procedures and templates.
  • Support the attraction, recruitment and selection of new employees including preparing and posting job ads, booking interviews, conducting reference checks administering candidate records and other due diligence activities.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities and provide general HR advice in relation to policies, procedures and employment instruments.

You will be self-motivated and solutions focused, with a passion for people and HR service delivery, which will see you make a positive contribution to the evolution and growth of Coal LSL.

Your background will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills with an ability to build effective and trusted working relationships that foster an inclusive and positive culture.
  • You are a team player with exceptional time management, organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Your ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Experience working with private, confidential and sensitive information and an ability to administer and discuss this type of information with integrity and discretion.
  • Your ability to adapt, apply judgement and be creative when faced with changing needs and situations.
  • Your understanding of, and appreciation for, best practice principles and how to apply them within different contexts.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in an HR related discipline is desirable but not essential.
