Duratec is an ASX listed project-based contractor offering a full range of remediation services with more than 15 branches across Australia servicing the Defence, Mining, Oil and Gas, Industrial and Marine industries along with Government assets and Commercial Infrastructure including Heritage buildings.

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth across the national business, we are currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our friendly HR team located in Wangara. Reporting to the HR Executive, you will be assist our team with HR administration to support the employee life cycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide general HR administration support for the HR team
  • Respond to queries and provide support to managers, as first point of call in requests for information or in the progress of new employees
  • Prepare paperwork and generate CPI letters
  • Assist with the onboarding of new starters
  • Maintain exit interview data for wages staff
  • Coordinate the mobilisation and onboarding of employees including booking of pre-employment medicals and completing onboarding checks such as collation and validation of identification, police checks and qualifications
  • Order and coordinate logistics of PPE
  • Ad hoc HR administration tasks – data collection, reports, scheduling reviews, assist with HR information required for tender documents
  • Maintain employee records and update HR records using STEMS
  • Collate Employee of the Month nominations and announcements
  • Undertake and participate in HR projects as required

  • Previous experience in a HR Administration role, preferably within the construction or resources industry
  • Formal qualifications in Human Resource management is Preferred
  • Ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines
  • Be highly articulate with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
